Jenna was inspired by a large, colorful mural on the side of the building featuring a huge blue jay. I decided to use this mural as the inspiration for the color scheme for her materials. Additionally, the owner was very passionate about the vibe she was looking for in her coffee shop: minimalist, clean, simple, organic, comfortable.

For the logo, I was inspired by some stylized drawings of birds made of a single unbroken line. To me, this exemplified the vibe the owner was going for: simple and minimalistic, with an artistic flair.

The logo would also be easy to incorporate on the open glass store front, marketing materials, coffee cups, apparel, etc.
